Apply for Scholarship

 

The Dorchester Board of Directors awards Jean Young Scholarships ($500-$750 each) to High School, College or Graduate students between the ages of 15 & 25 each year. The applicant must be a full time student and be a participating delegate at the Dorchester Conference.

 

To apply for a scholarship, submit the following items to the address below:


The completed application

  • A short bio or resume
  • One letter of reference
  • A one paragraph answer for the following questions:
  1. How are you involved in your school and your community?
  2. Choose one issue that is important to Oregonians and describe how a Republican view of that issue is distinctive.
  3. Briefly describe how Republicans are perceived by the public and whether you believe any changes should be made.

All Applicants must be a paid registered conference delegate. Scholarships winners will be announced Saturday, March 3rd at the dinner event.
